Electric arc and oxy acetylene gas methods will be used to demonstrate welded fusing techniques. Common steel stock, bars and plates provided, and serve as practice material for each student. Participants 16 yrs and up are asked to bring their own collected/found material, steel only, test with magnet. Proper apparel must be worn for safety such as leather shoes, cap, loose fitting long sleeve shirt and pants. Other items include welding apron, welding goggles, arc helmet (auto darkening preferably) and face shield. Limit 6 students.
